Roots

Our African Centered Learning Curriculum was designed to cover a multitude of concepts, figures, dance, song, language acquisition, exposure, cultural familiarity and map orientation. Students who sign up for this class will be exposed to many different men, women and children who accomplished amazing things and added to the betterment of our world. The extensive curriculum is designed to help people get in touch with the amazing leaders, scientists, philosophers, empire builders, solution finders, artists, chemists, astronomers, and other notable figures from Africa and the African diaspora across the world. Students can learn African dance, African language and African culture and see how these frameworks influence and benefit our world now. There will also be opportunities to connect with, meet and develop friendships with students from Africa through our diaspora connection program.
